The CDC recommends a yearly influenza vaccine as the first and most important step in protecting against the flu. Getting a flu vaccine this fall is more important than ever, not only to reduce your risk from the flu, but also to help reduce the strain on healthcare systems responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
For the 2020-2021 influenza season, CUIMC mandates participation in the vaccine immunization program for all students coming onto campus, and strongly encourages all students to receive an influenza vaccination in order to protect themselves, their colleagues, their patients, and their families and friends.
