The Columbia Aging Center is a university-wide, interdisciplinary research and policy center anchored in the Mailman School of Public Health and directed by Linda P. Fried, MD, MPH, Dean and DeLamar Professor of Public Health. The Columbia Aging Center brings together researchers for the study of aging and the implications of aging societies. The Center is mandated to lead and stimulate the creation of interdisciplinary science and education for public health within the Mailman School, while catalyzing and promoting work on aging across Columbia University.
We are eager to engage our VP&S MD-PhD candidates in the Columbia Aging Center community. To join the Columbia Aging Center’s mailing list and learn more about its Fall seminar series, contact Caitlin Hawke, Senior Science and Strategy Officer at: ColumbiaAgingCenter@cumc.columbia.edu. If you are working on an aging project, let Caitlin know! Caitlin builds interdisciplinary partnerships and identifies research synergies among campus faculty, visiting international and U.S. scholars, and trainees.
