About the Residency Program
Didactic Curriculum
The didactic curriculum includes:
- Daily morning clinical conferences at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center
- Noon and/or afternoon clinical conferences at Harlem Hospital Center
- Radiology-Pathology conferences as well as Grand Round lectures with visiting professors/invited speakers
- Daily conferences in the various radiology subspecialties as well as faculty and resident research presentations and Journal Club, etc.
- Four-week course in Radiologic Pathology, Armed Forces Institute of Pathology/American Institute for Radiologic Pathology in Silver Springs, Maryland.
- Lecture series in Leadership in Imaging, Quality and Patient Safety, the Socioeconomics of Imaging, etc.
Night Float
The radiology call is covered by a rotating one week night float system with shifts from 10 PM to 9 AM. There is an alternating short call resident who covers call from 4pm - 10pm on weekdays and from 9 AM -10 PM on weekends and holidays.
