168th St. Streetscape Improvement

Columbia University Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital are working on a campus-wide streetscape project. With new landscaping, more outdoor seating, and improved exterior surfaces, the campus’s main pedestrian walkways will have a refreshed, modern appearance.

Project Location: South side of 168th St. between Fort Washington Ave. and Broadway (CUMC Phase 1)

Client: Columbia University Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital

Project Program and Scope: To replace existing concrete sidewalk and landscape

Project Area: Approxiately 16,500 square feet

  • Tinted concrete sidewalk with concrete pavers and granite curb, new benches, and bike racks
