Touchless Restroom Device Installations

As part of our efforts to support the medical center in response to COVID-19, we are converting restroom fixtures in University buildings to operate automatically.  Below is the current installation schedule. Please continue to check this page for the latest updates. You may also view our list of building-specific enhancements.

Irving Cancer Research Center: Aug 12-Sept. 8

  • Beginning on Monday, August 12, and continuing until approximately Monday, August 31, we will be installing touchless water fixtures in restrooms located throughout the Irving Cancer Research Center. We will begin with restrooms located on the 11th floor and work our way down the building. While we are installing the new fixtures, access to each restroom will be temporarily unavailable; signage will be posted at each restroom while the while work is being done.
  • Beginning on Friday, September 4, and continuing until approximately Tuesday, September 8, we will be installing touchless paper towel dispensers in restrooms located throughout the Irving Cancer Research Center.

Allan Rosenfield Building: Aug. 20-Sept. 21

  • Beginning on Thursday, August 20, and continuing until approximately Monday, September 21, we will be installing touchless water fixtures in restrooms located throughout the Allan Rosenfield Building. We will begin with restrooms located on the 19th floor and work our way down the building. While we are installing the new fixtures, access to each restroom will be temporarily unavailable; signage will be posted at each restroom while the while work is being done.

Russ Berrie Medical Science Pavilion: Aug. 27-Sept. 14

  • Beginning on Thursday, August 27, and continuing until approximately Monday, September 14, we will be installing touchless water fixtures in restrooms located throughout Russ Berrie Medical Science Pavilion. We will begin with restrooms located on the 7th floor and work our way down the building. While we are installing the new fixtures, access to each restroom will be temporarily unavailable; signage will be posted at each restroom while the while work is being done.
  • On Wednesday, September 9, we will be installing touchless paper towel dispensers in restrooms located throughout Russ Berrie Medical Science Pavilion.

Hammer Health Sciences Center: Sept. 2-28

  • Beginning on Wednesday, September 2, and continuing until approximately Monday, September 28, we will be installing touchless water fixtures in restrooms located throughout Hammer Health Sciences Center. We will begin with restrooms located on the 17th floor and work our way down the building. While we are installing the new fixtures, access to each restroom will be temporarily unavailable; signage will be posted at each restroom while the while work is being done.

School of Nursing Building: Sept. 2-28

  • Beginning on Wednesday, September 2, and continuing until approximately Monday, September 28, we will be installing touchless water fixtures in restrooms located throughout the School of Nursing Building. We will begin with restrooms located on the 7th floor and work our way down the building. While we are installing the new fixtures, access to each restroom will be temporarily unavailable; signage will be posted at each restroom while the while work is being done.
