New Facilities work order system launched Tuesday, Sept. 26

Updated Sept. 26, 2017: The new work order system is now available. Submit a work order.

On Tuesday, Sept. 26, CUMC Facilities Management will begin providing greater service to our customers through a new work order system. 

Via our new work order system, you will be able to submit work orders more easily than ever before. Our new system will also send you automated emails as your work order travels toward completion, and our Customer Service Center will still be available to answer any follow-up phone calls or urgent inquiries at 212-305-HELP (4357), option 3. If you live on campus, you can submit maintenance requests via the same system and contact the Office of Housing Services with any follow-up inquiries at 212-305-HELP (4357), option 2.

On Tuesday morning, you may notice changes as we transition to the new system; for example, work orders submitted through the new system will be accompanied by regular email notifications. We anticipate the transition to be completed by noon that day. 

Please note, any work orders submitted on or after July 1, 2017, will be transferred to the new system but will not be visible immediately after launch. If you have a question about a work order that was submitted via our old system, please contact Erin James, director for Strategic Communications, at ej2302@cumc.columbia.edu. Please provide the work order number or as much information about the original request as possible.
