Facilities Management New Work Order System

New Self Service Options!

The Facilities Management Department is pleased to announce the launch of a new work order enhancement for faculty, students and staff. In addition to being able to submit work order online, you can review your work order history and approve service requests from any computer in the Medical Center.

To login, simply click on the link\Icon titled "Work Order" on the Facilities Homepage. You will be able to:

Submit a new Work Order or Service Request

To enter a new work order, click on "New Work Order." The work order will automatically generate your name. Please be as descriptive as possible in the details area, and remember to include the room/office number. Once submitted, your request will be logged into the Facilities Help Desk system, and you will receive an email confirmation. The work order will then be assigned to the appropriate technician. The Facilities Department strives to resolve requests as quickly as possible.

Review a Work Order or Service Request

From here you will see a list of all of your specific work orders, most recent to oldest. Clicking on the work order number will provide details about the work order. You can also view the technician's notes as the work order progresses.

Approve or Decline Service Request Estimates:

This page will allow you to see the cost estimate on each service(s) you request. You can approve or decline the service and retain the history of the cost(s) all in one central location.
