Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center
Columbia University Irving Medical Center and the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons developed a new research facility for the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center under the leadership of Dr. David D. Ho. This project—approximately 24,000 gross square feet—transformed existing research and administrative areas into new state-of-the-art laboratories, offices, and support spaces to meet the modern research needs of the department.

Project Scope:
- The scope of work included a total demolition of the existing spaces and infrastructure.
- The project included a new interior convenience stair between two floors.
- The construction scope included, but was not limited, to partitions, ceilings, lighting, furniture, laboratory casework, and equipment.
- New mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems were tied into the base building infrastructure.
