For Students and Trainees

Since its inception, education and training has been considered one of the most important missions of our ADRC.  The ADRC fosters education and training of students, post-doctoral fellows, residents, investigators and physicians in many ways.

  • First, many members are lab leaders that receive high school students, graduate and medical students and post-doctoral fellows into their labs from many departments.
  • Second, members of the ADRC are lecturers on AD and related disorders in formal courses offered to undergraduate students, graduate students, medical students, residents, and CME courses to physicians.
  • Finally, the ADRC has funded a monthly lecture series of leading speakers. These lectures are advertised campus-wide, and besides educating established investigators, they act to inspire students and new investigators.
