Deborah P. Levi, LMSW

Assistant Director for Health Promotion

Debbie began working for the Center for Student Wellness at Columbia University Medical Center in April 2007.  Debbie has over 6 years work experience combining higher education and health/mental health fields.  Prior to joining CUMC, Debbie was the Assistant Director of Wellness, Alcohol and other Drug Education at St. John's University since August 2004. She holds a Bachelors of Psychology from Emory University and Masters in Social Work from Columbia University with a concentration in Health, Mental Health, and Disabilities.   During her graduate studies, Debbie worked as a social work intern at both Bailey House, Inc. providing counseling and case management for individuals living with HIV/AIDS, and at Barnard College, working in the Alcohol and Substance Awareness Program (ASAP).
