Ai Kubo, MPH

yoga, Thai massage, & shiatsu instructor

Ai taught yoga classes and special intensive yoga and massage workshops at the CSW from 2003-2005.  Ai has been a dedicated student of yoga since 1996 and is certified in Ashtanga-based Vinyasa yoga, Forrest yoga, and traditional Thai massage.  She also has a BS in nutrition and toxicology (UC Berkeley), an MPH (UC Berkeley), and is currently a doctoral student in epidemiology at Columbia University.  Ai approaches teaching and practice using her diverse background in health sciences, bodywork, and therapeutic yoga, ultimately helping students balance the demands of the world with the needs of mind and body.
