SHS offers nutrition services for students interested in learning about healthy eating, improving their eating habits to more effectively manage illness or disease, losing or gaining weight, or improving their athletic performance. Please call 212-305-3400, prompt 1 to check availability and schedule an appointment with Taniesa Stanton, M.S., R.D.

Taniesa Stanton joined CUMC as a Registered Dietician in July, 2011. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from California State University, Northridge in 2006. Following her internship at the Veteran’s Hospital in West Los Angeles, she worked for several years at Providence Hospital in Los Angeles as an inpatient clinical dietician. She then relocated to New York City and completed her Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition at Teacher’s College, Columbia University in 2011. During this time she provided nutrition counseling to the Columbia University Track and Field Team. Currently she also works for Nutrition Conditioning, Inc., a company providing nutrition services to institutions including the Juillard School, Fordham University and the School of American Ballet, as well as having a private practice.
