All contacts with a Mental Health Service clinician are entirely confidential.* No information is
shared with your deans or professors unless you request it in writing. Similarly, no information is shared
with friends, family or other clinicians without your explicit consent.
Mental Health Service records are stored securely in a location separate from Student Health Service
records; only the Mental Health Service staff have access to these files. You can be assured that your
privacy will be maintained.
*Except in those rare instances of imminent risk of harm to self or others, or where
otherwise required by law.
