Many of you will travel during your time as CUMC students. Student Health Service is your resource for travel
advice as well as recommended immunizations and medications.
We strongly recommend that you consult us well in advance of your trip, since some immunizations require
several doses over time, and certain immunizations may not be given in close proximity to each other. For
information on the vaccines that may be required, and other health advisories that may apply, visit
www.cdc.gov and click on Traveler’s Health.
- If your trip is a school-sponsored activity and you bring us written documentation from the
appropriate official in your school or program
(
click here for the form), then there will be no charge for your immunizations. However, you must bring
us the documentation to take advantage of this support. You must also be enrolled in the Student Health
Service for this benefit to apply.
- Travel Consults are scheduled by calling 212-305-3400 and are 30 minutes in length. Please be
sure to tell the receptionist that you are scheduling a travel consult.
Please read our new Travel Medication Reimbursement Policy.
