You can register either by phone at (212) 854-7373 or via the web using (SSOL). Before registering, please consult your school for any specific details. All students registering for the first time at our campus must comply with Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) immunization requirements. Information about these requirements can be obtained by visiting STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES. Adding or Dropping courses during the designated periods may require approval by your Advisor, Program Director or associate dean.

Cross registration constitutes taking a course within the University in a school other than your own. Students should not cross register on the phone or via Web registration system. Students who wish to cross register must bring signed approvals to the Registrar's Office.

Permission to register for courses in other divisions and schools depends on:

• the availability of the course
• the regulations of the school that offers it
• the regulations of the student's home school

For specific information about adding a course from another division, students should review the On-Line Directory of Classes to check:

• whether the course is graduate or undergraduate level
• which department/school is offering the course
• whether approval is required
• whether to whom priority for admission is given

Approval may require:

• the instructor's signature
• the department or Dean of Student Affairs signature from the school offering the class
• permission from the student's own department, advisor or Student Affairs Office

Phone Registration requires students to have their 9-digit student ID number and their 4-digit pin number. Pin numbers are available for all students on SSOL. You may contact your School or our office.
