Tuition Exemption

If you are eligible for Tuition Exemption (due to your employment, or that of your parent, spouse, or domestic partner at Columbia), the amount of the exemption may not appear on your first student account statement produced for the term. However, you may deduct the amount of the benefit from the total amount due on your student account statement. The credit will appear after the approved application for tuition exemption has been submitted to the Student Account Services Division.

Tuition exemption benefit eligibility status must be verified with Columbia University's Human Resources Department.
