Estefania “Stephanie” Esquilin joined the Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) Student Health Service in November 2014 as a receptionist/typist.  Prior to joining SHS, she assisted homeless families residing in shelters in the South Bronx. She worked as a teacher providing childcare services to the families for five years and transitioned into working with the adults as a case manager in 2013. Stephanie obtained her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts in December 2010 and graduated with her Bachelors in Human Services in June 2012. Stephanie is looking forward to going back to school and obtaining a Master’s Degree in the realm of child psychology since she really enjoys working with children.
