Leif Rogers, a California plastic and reconstructive surgeon, received a “Commitment to Care” award from the weSPARK Cancer Support Center in September 2011. Dr. Rogers, who has committed the majority of his practice to reconstructive surgery, uses advanced techniques for breast reconstruction following mastectomy and for the repair of disfigurement caused by war injuries. He was presented the award by TV’s Dr. Phil and U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Tony Lino, a two-time Purple Heart recipient who suffered serious wounds in Iraq. Read more here and at Dr. Rogers’ website.
