Allergy and Immunology

The Allergy & Immunology fellowship program is a joint program with Internal Medicine and Pediatrics that leads to certification by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology. Each fellow is required to perform a research project that is supervised by one of the Attending staff. Our fellows have recently published a few articles on asthma in the Journal of Allergy Asthma and Immunology. They encounter a wide variety of patients during their clinic time and on the consultation service for pediatrics and internal medicine. These include:

  • Immunodeficiencies
  • Anaphylaxis
  • Drug reactions
  • Asthma
  • Eosinophilia
  • Eosinophilic esophagitis
  • Rhinitis
  • Food allergies
  • Nasal polyps
  • Urticaria
  • Atopic dermatitis
