About Our Divisions

The Department of Pediatrics, chaired by Lawrence Stanberry MD, PhD, consists of 17 pediatric subspecialty divisions including Child and Adolescent Health, Education and Biomathematics. Each division has a director who serves to guide the mission of the enterprise. The goals of each division include the following: to provide compassionate high quality patient care; to perform research, both clinical and laboratory focused, that will advance our understanding of diseases that affect children and adolescents; and to educate medical students, residents and fellows who will become leaders for the next generation of physicians and scientists.
