Student Nursing Organization (SNO)

SNO offers students the opportunity to create and foster a community outside of the classroom. • Coordinate with Office of Student Affairs

Events:

The First Annual Student Nursing Organization (SNO) Clothing Swap for Charity went off without a hitch. Thanks to all the students who contributed clothing and attended! 6 bags full of clothes were donated to Goodwill on 181st Street.

Many ladies also left with new outfits, and bellies full of snacks, so all in all, the event was a success.

SNO upcoming events:

  1. Book Club Brunch! Read a novel over spring break and discuss over potluck brunch during the first week of integration. Book has yet to be determined, so check out the SNO Facebook page for literary voting on what you'd like to read.

  2. SNO will be ordering tee-shirts! Designs are posted on the SNO Facebook page- go vote for your favorite! Voting will close the last day of break and a link to the sign-up sheet for ordering will be on the SNO Facebook page starting day one of integration.

  3. Hunger Games is coming to theaters and SNO would like to organize a group outing to see the movie.  Time, location TBD!

  4. SNO's Monthly Happy Hour will be scheduled for next month once students are settled into integration. Locations near main campus are being considered to entice other graduate students to come as well.
