Details about the Application Process for the
Combined BS/MS (ETP) Program

The Combined BS/MS (ETP) Program is designed to prepare students for the first step in a career as a professional advanced practice nurse.  This fact sheet provides details about the application process including transcripts, GRE scores, references, a personal goal statement, and prerequisites for the Combined BS/MS (ETP) Program.  Applicants are advised to provide detailed information regarding their completion of prerequisites outlined on the second page of the application form and transcripts to attest to the successful completion of all required course work.  Syllabi of various courses undertaken may be requested to attest to the comprehensiveness of the curriculum encountered.  Only applications which have all required documents (application, fee, personal goal statement, all postsecondary transcripts, 3 references, and GRE scores) will be reviewed for prerequisites and an admissions decision.  Supporting materials must be submitted by the deadline for consideration for the following May.

Transcripts

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University.

Please provide official transcripts of baccalaureate level course work completed and in progress.  If a student transferred or received a degree from a school that accepted credits from a previous school, both transcripts are required.  Official transcripts that attest to registration for courses in progress will expedite your file for decision and are requested.  Also provide an official transcript to update your file regarding all course work completed for a grade and that attest to your graduation once posted whichever comes first.  Transcripts received early in the admission process are essential, but a complete historical set of official documents will be accepted no later than June 1 shortly after the ETP program commences.
