Message from the Alumni Chair

Dear Friends:

Great news!
In honor of Columbia School of Public Health’s 75th anniversary, generous alumni have put up a challenge grant of $32,500 (and growing) to boost our Annual Fund drive. If we can raise at least $32,500 in new gifts by June 30, 1998, they will match those gifts dollar for dollar.

That’s right. Your contribution will now go twice as far as before. and, you can help boost our Annual Fund over its $175,000 goal.

Your gift reaffirms your commitment to public health and provides direct support to further our school’s unique mission of teaching, research, and community service to promote public health at the local, national, and global levels. Additionally, your donation will receive special acknowledgment and recognition in our “Dean’s Report,” an overview of the School.

Please take a moment to write your check and return it in the enclosed response envelope today. We will be most grateful for whatever you can do to help meet the challenge and reach our goal.
