After Migration - Outlook on Windows

Instructions below can help if you recently removed your CUMC email profile and set it up again to resolve issues with connecting.
  1. Start Outlook as usual. You will be prompted to login; be sure your full CUMC email account is entered as the username, then type in your email password and click OK.
  2. Outlook login prompt

    If your CUMC email address does not appear as the username above the password field, click Use another account (or More Choices - Use another account) to type it in manually.
  3. After logging in, Outlook will open and connect to your migrated account.
    There may be additional prompts:
    • Notification to close and re-open Outlook - follow this prompt as additional (automatic) configuration may be required. NOTE: If a login prompt appears along with the notification to close/re-open, click Cancel on the login prompt and wait until Outlook restarts to login.
    • Allow this website to configure... - check off Don't ask me about this website again and click Allow.
    • Multiple login prompts - if you have been connecting a shared resource such as a mailbox or calendar, or as a delegate to someone else's account (to help manage their inbox, calendar, etc), Outlook will prompt for each of these connections.

      Check the option to Remember my credentials (if you don't want Outlook to prompt you each time you open it), then enter your email password and click OK.
  4. Outlook will finish connecting to your account and display your CUMC Inbox etc. as usual.
