Outlook is part of the Microsoft 365 Suite of programs that is free to current CUIMC faculty, staff, and students. It is the CUIMC IT standard supported email client for Macintosh and is the most compatible with CUIMC's Exchange/Microsoft 365 (@cumc.columbia.edu) email accounts.

Microsoft offers tutorials and more on its website. Note that some instructions vary depending on the version of Outlook you are using.  Macintosh users at CUIMC should be on Outlook for Microsoft 365. If you have Outlook 2021 or older, please upgrade to Microsoft 365. Version 2016 and older are no longer supported by Microsoft and will not receive security updates. Some features may not be enabled in New Outlook until later, see this FAQ for details including how to revert to legacy Outlook.
