Printing on Campus - Pharos

The Pharos printing system has replaced Ninja printing on the CUMC campus as of Thursday evening, August 20th. Pharos was trialed in March and April on multiple printers in the Hammer building. Due to overwhelmingly positive responses via a survey given at the end of the trial, we have replaced the Ninja printing system with Pharos.

IMPORTANT: any pages purchased online via the myUNI web site will only be able to be used on the Morningside campus through the Ninja system. If you will not be printing at Morningside, please do not purchase pages this way!

Improvements to campus printing via Pharos include:

  • A printing quota of 1000 pages for students.
  • Print jobs only need to be sent to one printer/queue, then any Pharos printer can be selected to print out the job. NOTE: Color print jobs must be sent to a separate queue.
  • 3 of the laserjet printers have been upgraded to newer models, for a total of 18 black and white and 1 color printer. Printer locations did not change from the original Ninja location, and a printer will be available on each of the Hammer Lower Levels I and II.
  • You can quickly and easily configure your own computer to print to all of the Pharos printers with one installation. For instructions, please select the appropriate link for your operating system:
