New Innovations is the web based program currently used by third year clerkships at CUMC to record data about their clinical visits. Only faculty, residents and students involved in the clerkships have access to the system.

Technical Requirements and Compatibility
Windows XP SP2 or later, using Internet Explorer 6.0 or later. Firefox on Windows XP SP2 is generally compatible as well.
Macintosh computers are not fully supported by New Innovations, however most are able to use the program using Mozilla's free Camino web browser.
Mobile Devices are compatible on:
Windows Mobile 5.0 or higher with ActiveSync 4.0 or higher
Windows Mobile 2003/SE with ActiveSync 3.6 or higher.
Apple iPhone and iTouch.
To install New Innovations on your Windows Mobile device, login to the site and select the Mobile Software link from the Main drop down menu in the upper left corner of the screen. Apple iPhone and iTouch can be downloaded by accessing the App store and searching for NI UME. Please also see the Mobile Device FAQs for further information.
The username is generally your first initial and last name.
(ex: James Springfield's login username would be jspringfield).

Your initial password will be distributed prior to the first clerkship in January.
Please change your default password for New Innovations as soon as possible by going to the Change Your Password link towards the top middle of the Welcome to New Innovations page.
Please use the Forgot Your Password link below the username and password fields on the Login page to have your password reset and emailed to you, or contact Shoshana Sicks for assistance.
