Computer Training

Computer training is offered by various groups at Columbia. Please visit the Columbia Library Classes and Instructional Workshops site, or the Human Resources Learning and Development site for details about training offered for the Columbia community.

Online courses covering commonly used software and other technical subjects can be found through Skills at Columbia. Select the "Take a Class" link and log in with your UNI and password, then use the "Search for" field towards the top of the page, or select the "Catalog" link at the top of the page to browse all courses.

Columbia also has access to tutorials in the lynda.com Online Training Library, which covers a wide range of programs from Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint to Flash, iDVD, Illustrator, Mac OS, Twitter and many more. Login with your UNI and password at: http://www.lynda.com/portal/columbia

The CUMC IT Service Desk no longer offers computer training classes. For classes offered by the Health Sciences Library, please see their Library Classes calendar.
