This service can be requested, and is required, in order to install a new server on the network. The scan looks for known vulnerabilities and common misconfiguration errors that may lead to a server compromise.
Service Description
The CUMC IT Information Security group can be contacted to scan a new server and help insure that it is properly patched and configured to prevent possible compromises.
