The CUMC IT Service Desk (SD) sells licenses and installation media for the SAS statistical software suite.
SAS has a set license period of September 1st through August 31st of every year. Regardless of when you purchase and install the software, it will not run after the end of the license period.
To continue running the software after the end of the license period, another license must be purchased.
The Service Desk only carries the two most recent versions of SAS for licensing. If you are running an older version would like to continue using SAS, you must upgrade your version of SAS.
Anyone needing to install or upgrade SAS must also purchase an installation kit.
These rules are set by the makers of SAS. SD sells licenses and kits as a service to the CUMC community.

Sales of SAS licenses and installation media via the CUMC IT Service Desk are available for CUMC faculty, staff and students. Detailed information about purchasing SAS be found on the SAS Site License page.
The Service Desk is not able to provide assitance with using SAS including troubleshooting. Technical support is available directly from the vendor, please see http://support.sas.com/techsup/.

Please submit the SAS online request form - please be sure to carefully review the information and rules pages that precede the form. Refunds cannot be given under any circumstances once an order has been placed. Please call the CUMC IT Service Desk prior to ordering if you have any questions.
