Classrooms, Auditoriums and many Conference Rooms on campus are scheduled by CUMC IT's Classroom Technology Support group. Room reservations for academic and other event use can be requested online, with many rooms including standard computing and audio/visual equipment available for use.
Rooms that are referable through Classroom Technology Support (CTS) include classrooms in the Hammer building, Presbyterian Hospital floor 17, Alumni Auditorium and many other spaces. Many come equipped with a standard audio/video projection system and computer that are controlled by a touch panel system on the podium.
Academic course reservations are typically done via automatic data import from SIS. Special events, conferences, training and other requests are scheduled on the basis of room availability through the Resource 25 WebViewer program.
To report issues and request help with computing and A/V equipment in the rooms, please contact the CUMC IT Service Desk as noted above.
Instructors, speakers and organizers are expected to operate any computing and a/v equipment on their own. A training session on using standard equipment can be arranged by contacting the Service Desk as above, and should be scheduled as far in advance as possible. Special events organizers who would like a technician present should click here for a list of recommended vendors that can be contacted, this service cannot be provided by CTS.
Conference rooms and other spaces owned by individual departments cannot be requested via the WebViewer, please contact the owner directly for information.
Requesting the Service Reservation requests for special events can be done through the WebViewer as well, though a login is required. Anyone needing a login must first register and attend a Resource 25 WebViewer training class; logins are given during the training.
