Moving computers and peripherals requires assurance of network connectivity and sometimes configuration changes. CUMC IT technicians can help coordinate with other technical groups as needed and verify that your equipment stays connected.
Service Description
The CUMC IT Technology Project Management group works in conjunction with CUMC's Facilities department and the CORE Resources network group for scheduled moves of computers, network printers and other systems that require network connectivity.
Data ports on campus are not necessarily automatically connected to the network, it is important to verify far in advance that throughput is available on networking equipment servicing the building and floor. Move and Migration services can assist you in determining this as well as installation of new data ports and any other special configuration that may be required.
Technology Project Management also arranges IDX printing setup via DSL VPN for remote offices.
