Most audio visual equipment on campus is installed in classrooms, auditoriums and conference rooms, with the majority of the rooms using a standardized touch panel system to control the installed equipment. A limited staff of A/V technicians can provide support for non-standard equipment set up and assistance if issues arise with equipment during an event, however instructors, faculty, speakers and/or TAs are expected to be able to run equipment without a technician present. Some non-standard equipment can be requested as well.
Service Description
Audio Visual support can only be provided for Classroom Technology Support managed rooms, and can not be reserved to remain through an event. Training can be requested for any faculty or staff on the standardized touch panel "eRoom" equipment that is installed in the majority of classrooms on campus, and online instructions can be found on our eRoom page. Some additional equipment such as the Audience Response System for polling during a PowerPoint presentation and recording of lectures is available.
