ACD lets incoming calls for a department or group be routed to designated phones that are idle.
Service Description
Phones in your department can be designated to receive calls via Automated Call Distribution, allowing them to receive incoming calls if idle when other phones are busy. This insures that callers will receive as prompt attention as possible and that staff will have calls routed to them when appropriate. ACD phones are still able to receive direct calls and operate with the features found on standard phones, and can be removed from the ACD system as needed throughout the day.
