Division of Clinical Genetics within the Department of Pediatrics
This division is currently based in the Department of Pediatrics sees approximately 2,000 outpatients and 200 inpatients per year, including both pediatric patients and patients seen for genetic counseling and/or prenatal diagnosis. The unit currently employs 4 full-time and one part-time genetic counselor, partially supported by a grant from the Department of Health, New York State, and partially supported by New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Prenatal Genetics within the Department of OB/GYN
The Division of Maternal and Fetal Medicine is based in Obstetrics and Gynecology. They coordinate the FASTER trial of 1st trimester genetic screening, fetal ultrasonography, and have a staff that includes several genetic counselors.

Other Specialty Clinics include Cancer Genetics, Huntington Disease, Movement Disorders Clinic, Muscular Dystrophy, Sickle Cell Disease, Cystic Fibrosis, Pediatric Neurology, Alzheimer's Disease and the Craniofacial disorders have active patient programs that require consultation with clinical genetics.
