The Office of Faculty Professional Development works closely with the Apgar Academic of Medical Educators, Center for Education Research and Evaluation (CERE), and the Columbia Center for New Media Teaching and Learning (CCNMTL) to provide programs that support educators.

The 7th Annual Summer Institute for Teaching and Learning is a day-long workshop devoted to exploring effective teaching and learning strategies in health sciences education. This event is designed for junior faculty or senior faculty who recently taken on a new teaching role. Encourage your new teaching faculty to apply for free admission to the Summer Institute by submitting the online application.
