All CUMC faculty are invited to join us for a discussion of the Columbia University tenure evaluation process by Lee Goldman, MD, John Coatsworth, PhD, and Art Palmer, PhD.

The CUMC Leadership and Management Course for Women Faculty

The CUMC Leadership and Management Course is a four-day program is designed for faculty who currently have leadership/management responsibilities or who wish to include these in their career goals. The course for Faculty helps participants develop knowledge and skills necessary for current and future leadership positions in the academic health sciences. Program sessions utilize active learning methods, including case studies, discussion, and the development of a personal project. The program consists of the following modules:

  • Leadership and Organizational Change
  • Self-Management and Leadership (half day)
  • CUMC Financial Overview (half day)
  • Negotiations and Conflict Management
  • Leading High Performance, Diverse Teams
