CCNMTL rewirED Series: Simulations and Game-Based Learning

Detail:
This session, offered by CCNMTL new media associate Christian de-Luna, will provide an overview of simulations and game-based learning and their potential applications in education. We will survey theories and practices exhibited in games and simulations and discuss how these concepts could supplement teaching styles and enhance student learning. Examples of various games and simulations will be featured and demonstrated during the session. Possible methods of integration, potential developmental directions, and current obstacles and apprehensions will also be examined. Open conversation and discussion about the technologies will be facilitated.

Robin Ely, Warren Alpert Professor of Business Administration and Senior Associate Dean for Culture and Community of the Harvard Business School, will discuss gender and the leadership identity.
