No equipment or materials of any sort may be stored in basements, stairways, tunnels, or public corridors or placed in a position that hinders access to fire exits.
These conditions constitute Fire Department violations. If violations are received for such conditions, the violations will be directed to the Department or, if discernible, the individual responsible for the material causing the violations. Departmental equipment or supplies may not be stored in mechanical equipment rooms, electrical closets, or janitorial closets. If improperly stored in those areas, the equipment or supplies will be disposed of and the responsible department will be charged.
