Removal of Appliances

Columbia University Medical Center Facilities will remove appliances upon request.

 

Examples of appliances include:

  • Washers
  • Dryers
  • Stoves and Ovens
  • Dishwashers
  • Trash Compactors
  • Specialty Lab Equipment
  • Microwave Ovens
  • Refrigerators and freezers *
  • Air conditioners *
  • Drinking fountain cooling units *

 

There is no charge for the removal of large non-refrigerant containing appliances during normal business hours.

 

*In accordance with EPA regulations, Facilities Management will facilitate the proper removal and disposal of all refrigerants. A fee may be charged for this service.
