Columbia University Medical Center Facilities maintains and repairs mechanical door hardware, (doorknobs, lock sets, lock cylinders)

Hardware includes:

• Lock cylinders
• Non-electric lock sets
• Door closers
• Door openers
• Door knobs
• Panic hardware

There is no charge for the repair and maintenance of existing hardware.

A fee is charged for replacing and installing new hardware based on an hourly labor rate, plus the cost of materials.
