Newly Admitted Students: Housing Applications for 2014-2015 Begin April 15th
Saturday, March 1, 2014

All new students admitted for the 2014-2015 academic year should only apply for single student and couples’ housing between Tuesday, April 15, and Sunday, June 1. Housing applications from newly admitted students that are submitted before April 15 will be cancelled. Housing notification for newly admitted students will occur in early June. For a list of on-campus Housing locations, visit CUMC Housing Buildings webpages.

To ensure fair housing for as many CUMC students as possible, the Office of Housing Services uses the following priority structure for housing assignments:

  • Priority 1: International applicants
  • Priority 2: Applicants within the United States coming from farthest away then moving eastward
  • Priority 3: Applicants from the Tristate area (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut)

Please note the number and type of student housing units available for rent at any given time varies throughout the year. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that you will be housed in accommodations that satisfy your first preference in terms of type, location, and price range.

For a list of frequently asked questions for new students looking to secure housing at CUMC, visit the Housing FAQs webpage. If you don’t see your questions or concerns listed among the FAQs, please contact the CUMC Office of Housing Services at 212-304-7000 (Option 2) or
