Herman Matte is our Assistant Vice President for Campus Operations, and his job is to coordinate the smooth functioning of the CUMC buildings, grounds and housing. The campus operations section provides comprehensive services in custodial, call center, waste removal, event set up, mail and housing services for over 20 academic, administrative, and residential buildings totaling 3 million square feet on Medical Center campus, including athletic facilities, and parking operations.

Herman joined CUMC in January 2008, having held leadership positions at Columbia University, NYU Medical School, and St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital. Herman received the Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from New York University.
