Gender-Inclusive Restrooms

Columbia University Medical Center offers gender-inclusive restrooms for use by our community and guests.

The signage for the gender-inclusive restrooms features an icon that represents male and female genders. As CUMC Facilities Management reinvents old spaces and builds new ones, we are also being mindful of opportunities to identify additional gender-inclusive restrooms; Campus Life Safety & Regulatory Compliance is leading that effort in collaboration with other key departments.
