Main Goal of Study: To explore the risk factors and determine the prevalence of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among pregnant adolescents, adolescent males, Haitian immigrants living in rural sugar cane fields (bateyes), men who have sex with men, commercial sex workers, and HIV-infected individuals.


Barriers to the Access and Use of HIV care by HIV-Infected Haitian Migrants in La Romana, Dominican Republic

Main Goal of Study: To identify the structural and behavioral barriers to care, perceptions of HIV infection, and health-seeking behaviors that reduce access to or use of healthcare by HIV-infected Haitian migrants in the Dominican Republic.
