Christiane Reitz, MD, PhD

Associate Professor of Neurology and Epidemiology (in the Gertrude H. Sergievsky Center and the Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer's Disease and the Aging Brain)

Dr. Reitz is a medical doctor and genetic epidemiologist. Her research focuses on the identification of genetic and non-genetic factors that contribute to Alzheimer's disease, Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration, and structural and functional brain changes. She has been involved in a number of gene mapping and genetic epidemiology projects as well as non-genetic population-based studies that explore Alzheimer disease, vascular cognitive impairment, cerebrovascular disease and other aging traits.
