In November of 2002, staff of the Heilbrunn Department of Population and Family Health attended the launch of Forced Migration Online at theUniversity of Oxford. Forced Migration Online is a comprehensive web-based portal that provides instant access to a wide variety of online resources concerning the situation of forced migrants worldwide. The portal is designed for use by academics, students, researchers, librarians, practicioners, policy makers, the media, information providers, forced migrants themselves, or anyone else interested in the field of forced migration. The project is a collaboration between the Refugee Studies Centre at the University of Oxford, and a number of other international partners, including the Program on Forced Migration and Health at the Heilbrunn Department of Population and Family Health. The portal includes a digital library, research guides, web resources, and organizations directory, journals, and images. It can be found at www.forcedmigration.org.
