Capstone

Students are required to complete a "capstone" or culminating experience that allows them to integrate knowledge acquired in course work and apply it to a professional setting. Fulfillment of the capstone requirement involves:

Completion of a 2-3 month field practicum;
Participation in a weekly seminar following the practicum in which students present their field experiences;
Completion of a Capstone Paper or an article for publication, usually based upon the practicum.
