Lucien Cote, MD
Biographical Sketch
Dr. Côté is a renowned clinician-researcher who specializes in Parkinson's disease. His early research focused on the basic neurochemistry of the basal ganglia. He is currently devoted to a large clinical practice of patients with Parkinson's disease and related disorders. His research is focused on clinical pharmacology and clinical trials of new agents for Parkinson's disease.

1954-1956 - Internship and residency (partial) in internal medicine
1956-1958 - Physician in US Air Force
1958-1961 - Neurology residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York
1961-1964 - Special training in Neurochemistry at Columbia University in New York
1964-now - Dept. of Neurology, Columbia University Medical Center, research and clinical neurology, Parkinson's disease and related disorders. Approximately 200 published papers, both in neuroscience and clinical neurology.
