Mei Wang, CCRP
Ms. Wang joined the Department of Radiation Oncology in October 2008 as Grants Manger. She is also in charge of various clinical research activities and research studies conducted in the department including NCI cooperative group sponsored RTOG trials and Investigator initialed research studies involving breast cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, esophageal cancer and other cancer diseases.
Ms. Wang received her M.D degree from China and worked as a Medical Oncologist before coming to the United States in 1990. While in the U.S. she was employed for 10 years at various health care institutions in NYC working as a basic/clinical researcher in Microbiology, Immunology, Immunogenicity, Chemistry and Cell Biology
Ms. Wang entered the Clinical Research field in 2000. She directed the New York Cancer Project in Queens sponsored by the City of New York and was honored for her service in 2001. Starting in 2002, Ms. Wang served as the Research Manager in Genetics Department at Weill Cornell Medical College prior to joining CUMC 2008. Currently, she serves as Grants Manager in the Department and conducts all the administrative related pre-award and post-award activities.
